Free compostable yard waste bags available at the Recycling Center, Jackson Town Hall, and Public Works on Snow King Ave.
The Town burn week will be October 28- November 3, please call 733-2331 prior to burning. Only clean wood, branches, and leaves- no trash.
Town residential yard waste drop off at the Rodeo Ground on November 2 and 3. Individuals dropping yard waste will be asked to empty their own bags. Place yard waste in brown, compostable bags. Trash, dog poop, and plastic bags will be sent home with you. Yard waste will be composted rather than landfilled.
Free residential yard waste drop off at the Trash Transfer Station from October 22- November 3. No plastic, please. This rate does not apply to businesses.
3rd Annual Pumpkin Smash on November 3- 1-4pm! Residents may drop off their pumpkins for free so they will be composted locally rather than sent to the landfill. Fire Engine Ladder drop at 1pm an don the hour until 4pm (weather dependent)
