[ARCHIVED] Accounting Specialist

Teton County Library is searching for a detail-oriented, collaborative individual who enjoys working as a team and interacting with the public.  The Library experienced more than 620,000 in-person and virtual visitors last year, and functions as a key community center, a place to dream and do. 

Basic responsibilities include:

  • Process payroll and maintain payroll transaction records and filing systems.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, review and reconcile financial information.
  • Assist with developing annual operating budget and produce monthly financial reports.
  • Perform experienced clerical administrative duties, including taking board meeting minutes, maintaining department files, other special projects.

Minimum Requirements:  Associate’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or related field and two years’ experience of bookkeeping, clerical and administrative support, and computer experience.

The compensation for this position is $23.04 - $24.21 per hour with an excellent benefits package for the employee and dependents. 

The schedule is 40 hours per week, full-time/year-round.
