[ARCHIVED] Deputy County Clerk

The Teton County Clerk’s office is accepting applications for a full-time Deputy Clerk position.  The successful candidate will work under basic supervision, perform technical, clerical, and administrative duties in assisting with the management of the official records of the County, maintenance of the required data bases, and administration of County elections; and will provide customer service on behalf of the Teton County Clerk’s Office.  
Primary duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:  

  • Reviewing, processing, and researching technical and legal documents for the Teton County Clerk’s Office, performing duties within scope of authority and training, and in compliance with County Policies and quality standards.  
  • Receives, reviews and verifies a variety of legal documents and records, including vehicle titles, lien filings, voter registration, marriage and liquor licenses, election materials, real estate transactions, property documents, and vouchers. 

Duties will vary according to job assignment.  

Experience is preferred, but will train the right person. The ability to multi-task, stay organized, pay attention to detail, communicate clearly and effectively, and provide excellent customer service to the public and other organizations is required.  

Starting salary ranges from $35,789 to $37,579 DOE, annually, plus excellent benefit package.
