Annually, the Housing Supply Plan & Housing Department Work Plan are presented to the Town Council and Board of County Commissioners for approval. This year's plan was approved April 10, 2023. Highlights include:
- Today, there are more Affordable homes in the pipeline than ever before!
- Since the Town and County shifted to a partnership model, we have seen a 50% increase in production of deed restricted housing via Public-Private Partnerships.
- This year we expect the creation of 100 permanently restricted homes. Of these, 45 are being built with support from the Town and County through Public-Private Partnerships.
- Based on current planning applications, we anticipate the creation of over 350 deed restricted homes in 2024-2025. This includes 132 homes built with support from the Town and County through Public-Private Partnerships.
The Housing Supply Plan summarizes current and future Public-Private Partnership housing developments and programs and which includes several appendices focused on key housing metrics.
The Housing Department's Work Plan summarizes the department's work across five key task areas: management (including compliance and sales/rentals), supply, communications & education, data collection & analysis, and administration.
