We are looking for a motivated and high-performing professional to work in an active year-round resort community with a progressive and comprehensive planning program. Our ideal candidate will be focused, have strong communication skills, and the ability to think strategically. You will lead our planning efforts to develop, coordinate, and implement the Integrated Transportation Plan (ITP). The ITP is a multi-modal transportation vision established to meet future transportation demands of our community. You will also facilitate and support a community advisory committee, and other outside agencies on transit and transportation initiatives.
Qualifications:
A successful candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in urban and regional planning or transportation engineering and seven years’ experience in planning processes related to transportation programs. To be considered, candidate must demonstrate strong technical and public relations skills. GIS experience preferred.
