Voting at the Absentee Polling Place
Teton County has an absentee polling place that is located in the basement of the Teton County Administration Building at 200 S Willow Street, Jackson, WY 83001. All qualified electors wishing to vote in person by absentee may vote at the absentee polling site.
The absentee polling site is open Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for 45 days prior to the 2020 Primary Election and 2020 General Election.
The absentee polling site will be open for the Primary Election - July 2, 2020 to August 17, 2020.
The absentee polling site will be open for the General Election - September 18, 2020 to November 2, 2020.
Please keep in mind that the absentee polling site is not open on Election Day. You must vote at a designated vote center on Election Day.
Picking up a ballot at the Absentee Polling Place
You can also stop by the absentee polling site and pick up a ballot and take it home with you. You will need to fill out the absentee ballot request form in order to pick up a ballot. You can fill out the form in advance or fill out the form when you get to the office.
Picking up a ballot on behalf of someone else
If you are picking up a ballot on behalf of someone else, you need to provide our office with a completed absentee ballot request form from that person, or provide a hand written note from the person that gives you permission to pick up their ballot.
Deadline of Receiving Ballots
All absentee ballots must be received in the Clerk`s Office by 7 p.m. on the day of the Election to be counted.
