Draft Jackson/Teton County Comprehensive Plan Update

For the last ten months, our community, Town and County staff, Town Council, and County Commissioners have worked to review the Growth Management Program and update the 2012 Jackson/Teton County Comprehensive Plan. The result of this work so far was the public release of a draft 2020 Comprehensive Plan Update on March 20, 2020. With plan enhancements and implementation directives previously analyzed now incorporated into the text of the Comprehensive Plan as proposed updates, the next step is reviewing these enhancements before adoption of an updated Comp Plan can occur. The public hearing for Town and County Planning Commissions to meet jointly on April 27, 2020 and for the Town Council and Board of County Commissioners to meet jointly on May 4, 2020 to evaluate proposed Plan updates and consider adoption. Any change to this schedule will be made publicly available. The 2020 Comp Plan Public Release Draft and a guide to reviewing the Draft can be viewed at www.jacksontetonplan.com. All written public comment on the Draft can be sent to Town and County staff at kmalone@tetoncountywy.gov or PO Box 1727 Jackson, WY 83001.
